About You:
Played rugby league this season for my junior club Manly Cover Rebels (Under16’s Manly-Warringah District). Sunday was game day and trained twice a week - Tuesday and Thursdays for an hour and a half.
I also play touch footy for my school Balgowlah Boys’ High in the grade sport comp on a Wednesday.
Personal – ball work at the park with the footy balls, cones and markers, out for runs or long bike rides.Have you used a Base Level product similar to Nike Pro before?

First impressions of product:
Tried it on first at the Zelus store….felt really comfortable and the product looks first-class.
WEEK ONE
Thursday 30th August 6pm-8pm
Last training session of the season……wore the compression tights. Worked on our set plays for the grand final, first time I used PRO for an exercise purpose. Feels really comfortable, keeps me warm but at the same time keeps body temperature cool because of the material it is made of.
Sunday 2nd September 10am
Last footy game of the season…GRAND FINAL….wore the Nike Vent top.
WEEK TWO
Wednesday 5 September
Schools grade sport Semi Final for opens touch….wore the Nike ProVent top. Managed to knock-out the team who were the only team to beat us this year. Won 5-4, I scored in the first half -1 try difference in the overall result. The Nike Pro Vent helps with fatigue and because the way it compresses your upper body it keeps you in one place when you really want a rest off the field. Kept my sweat on the other side of the vent, not on my skin.
Friday 7 September
Wearing 2 pieces of Nike Pro…..the Nike vent top and the leggings…..1hr run throughout Manly Vale and up to Manly Dam. My body didn’t heat up during my hour of running, jogging, walking and steep hill climbing. Wore Nike Pro Vent top on its own but shorts with the leggings, passers by kept checking out the Nike apparel I was wearing. ; )
Wednesday 12th September
Wore the Nike Pro Vent top. Played in the sun at the touch fields outside Warringah Rugby Park. It was our Grand Final for school grade sport opens touch….I scored the first try of the game from the wing. I played an unusual full first half. We lead 2-1 first half. We held on to become touch champions for 2007 ..winning 3-2.
The Nike Pro top helped me play at my best that day. I played a full half in the heat with no water.
WEEK THREE
Monday 17th September
Wore the Nike Pro Vent Top. A full day AFL tournament in Belrose. Schools in the local district participated in the inaugural yr9/10 9-a-side AFL tournament, put on by the AFL development team. We won the whole thing undefeated and my good team mate who kicked plenty of goals was also wearing a Nike Pro product….. he wore his Nike tights compression shorts even though when I played against him in footy on the weekends he wore his “skins” (maybe he played at his best because he made the switch from Skins to Nike PRO). We played 4 games in total in the sun and windy conditions, other teams were wearing “skins” shorts but they didn’t go too far.
Overall Summary
During the trial period, I achieved goals which I hadn’t set before. The Nike Pro Vent top and the Nike Pro long compression tights are a product that I highly recommend for use in practically any sport or training or exercise. The product is of professional quality – hence its name Nike PRO. The design and material is very clever, useful, comfortable and classy. I have worn it and washed it many times in contact sport and it’s looking brand new, colour isn’t fading and no sign of wear.
